A Great exhibiton of colour and some surprixing paintings which i had not seen of Bonnards and the scale surprised me as some of his paintings at this exhibiton were so large. Bonnards use of colour and light is beautiful and his abstraction in that way he played with the space in the canvas drawing the view in was very interesting he played with unusual compositions almost abstract and the figures were secondary to the pictorial space which was not apparant to me before this exhibiton.
I did enjoy this exhibition and found the work far more interesting in life than from photos of his work which I have seen many times before.
