Drawing from life has always been a large part of my work, it's where I feel most at home.
I have been enjoying the Monday Life classes at Middlesex University and I have learned that it is essential to look and learn from what we see, not what we think we see.

Slowing down and connecting to what is in front of us gives us time to connect to ourselves and historical art.
I like my work to leave something to the imagination so the viewer can add something of themselves. The work has to have a life as it is all about human life, and the movement within the picture is essential.
